alrite guys i got another problem every so often if i hook up my ipod to my comp. itll erase all my songs but itll still say that there is still data on it i learned to live with this error and restore my ipod after that so i restored it then i tried re-jailbreaking my ipod but as it was writing the software on my itouch it froze on the big Z for about an hour and a half so i had to turn off my ipod and dissconnect it (regretably) i turned on my ipod and it was still writing the software but after about a min. it starts saying BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0 forever and ever before its starts saying that it says need system configuration itried restoring my ipod but my comp doesnt even recognize my ipod but wen i unplug my ipod from my comp my ipod knows that it was unplugged i tried re-jailbreaking my ipod no luck i am really desperate for any possible hope if someone can plz help me dont be afraid to speak up otherwise i have a 300 dollar piece of useless technology i think i can fix it by some how putting the system configuration onto my ipod so plz plz plz plz plz help i will greatly greatly greatly appreciate the help thank you for ur time
Im sorry im responding to this without any advice but I have the same problem as well. I accidentily pulled my cord when my ipod was jailbreaking and now my computer dosent recognize the ipod and i get the BSD... line of code that just repeats itself. Tried restoring, reboting, reseting, turning off, letting the batteries run till dead, everything i had in my arsnel. I f anyone knows anything please let us know.

Do a restore to the ipod. Yo have to click home button and on/off button (on top) and restart it. It will show you an image of itune and cable connection, connect to itune and restore using a restore file, which i assume you have on your hardisk. Once that is done you can ziphone it again. The whole process should not take more than 5min i guss and the BD error should not appear. I had this problem i kept doing it till i got it right ( maybe 6 times), but one approac i used was to look for a previous ziphone software and "z" my phone, but still got the BD error, then went to the latest ziphone software and it worked.
