ok well my ipod jailbroke fine =) and ive downloaded tap tap revolution so far haha.

but how do i know which applications do what im sort of confused on alot of them

I do not know? Everybody uses there own preference on type's of applications, You could best add the Community Sources with version 3.7 to your installer. It will give you access to a lot more stuff then the Apptapp only.

Sorry to post about the same thing, BUT I tried to jailbreak my daughters itouch using the first mirror and all i got was a bunch of script running on the screen for a good ten minutes. Now I have a iphone and jailbroke it with ziphone and had no problems. Any advice? And there was no run.bat in it either.

I have a problem, i followed ur instructions but then the screen went black and a lot of white little words came up but then it freezed i restarted it and it happened again plz help me.

damm i just tried to jb a touch and efed it up... i tryed using ziphone... i want to try this , is this pc only??? im on a mac... thanks

yes i'm a newb, this is a really dumb question so i'm sorry but.... i downloaded the jailbreak file on my mac osx leopard and found the runbat file but how do i run it? the runbat file is in a jailbreak folder and is just a file with a black square thing.... i'm a bit lost. are we supposed to do all of this on the ipod itself or on mac?
