Downgrading 1.1.4

My ipod touch has 1.1.4 firmware with software update. Is there anyway that I can downgrade it to 1.1.1?

You can jailbreak 1.1.4 with ZiPhone.

yeah but apple has made updates to counter jailbreaking. I jailbroke it then it almost got bricked. Its a lot safer to jailbreak with 1.1.1

Apple hasn't made anything to counter jailbreaking besides fixing the TIFF exploit in 1.1.1.

I'm almost postive in there sofware updates they did something to try to prevent some jailbreaking. But anyway do u know a way to downgrade it?

You need to download firmware 1.1.1 at: http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-3883.20070927.In76t/iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw

Then once you do that put your iPhone in DFU made and go to Restore but hold Shift on Windows and Command on a Mac and it should bring up a search box where you just find the 1.1.1 firmware and ti should restore it.

If you error 1604 or something __0_ just run Independence (Mac) or iBrickr (Windows).

But I'm telling Apple did nothing to counter jailbreaking if ZiPhone is MADE for 1.1.4 ailbreakig and countless people have jailbroekn their phones without defects.
