Default 1604 error
I've tried to jailbread my Ipod Touch 16Gb (with firm 1.1.1) but upgrading to 1.1.2 with Itunes on XP i've error 1604 !!
I've tried some solutions found on google:

Itunes 7.4
downgrade to 1.1.1 manually
upgrade to 1.1.2 manually
hard reset

BUT NOTHING !!

What can i do ??
Please help me....

Some people have had solution to this by switching USB port, or cable, or just givingup on that computer and trying somewhere else - it's a pain in the whatsit.

PROBLEM SOLVED
Using a MAC with Leopard and standard recover procedure, i've recovered my Ipod Touch without any problem !
So i think that Itunes for Windows XP can have some limitation...

I think maybe yours is isolated as many people have been able to down grade to 1.1.1 and jailbreak.. but glad you got it working!

Default Ipod touch for sale?
i keep getting 1604 error and i absolutely can not restore it at all by any means. No matter what restore method i try, it won't restore.

i need help...so:

1) someone has resolved this?
2) you guys mentioned that you want an ipod touch so want to buy it? isn't it selling for 250 or sometin retail?
