Default new nano is bricked!!!!!

while trying to sync my new nano for the second time she died. It will not respond to restore, disk mode, dead. The only thing I see is a black screen with an apple logo. Won't even turn off just runs its battery dead

Any ideas

Leave it connected to the computer for awhile. The battery is shot, and it needs time to recharge before anything will respond.

Sounds like a dud.
They'll probably have a look, then replace it.
