Default Genius Playlist For Old Nanos?

I have a 4GB 2nd Generation iPod Nano. All I want is the new Genius playlist. Any love for the old Nanos from Jobs & Co.?

The more I go "street hiking," more photos will be added so keep checking!

I read somewhere (no, I do not have a link or source so take my word) that Apple will give a firmware update that would allow older pre-existing Nanos and Classics the ability to create Genius playlists. I'll look around for the source.

Not the best link, but related.

At least I can now HOPE since Apple has never said they WON'T make it via software upgrades.
