I think we hear ya. We're just not trying the possible solutions to see if they give the desired result. That's up to you. I assume the screen capture posted on the previous page, linked in my post as well, is of the iPod and not the TV. I scrubbed the Net for you as well and found no other suggestions, even at ipodhacks.com. If nothing works, I think an AppleTV is your best answer. It offers menus and album art, although not exact screen mirrors of an iPod interface.

That, or aim a webcam at your iPod screen.

    Hi all,
I'm trying to do the same thing as Stephano_HK--I'm teaching a group of new users how to navigate on the iPod. While yes, several grasped the intuitive function of the wheel, several are stuck on the various view options on the center button--scrub, lyrics, etc. I want to demo it better than holding a video camera on the iPod and showing it via iMovie. Besides, I jiggle too much to make it very good. How did Steve do it when he intro'd the iPod?! Thanks,

What you need to do id buy a minijack to rca cable. Apple makes these but you can also get third party's. That's all that you need

That suggestion has already been posted (by me) and doesn't work the way the OP wants it to.

I don't think a simple software or hardware trick is going to do it. The only ways that come to mind are (1) deep hacking into the iPod's GUI while not causing bad mojo with getting iTunes purchased content to sync up or (2) hacking the pin-outs for the video on the iPod's logic board. I don't know how to do either, but this would be really cool to have because you could see music info, and, theoretically, play iPod games on the large screen.
