Dragoro Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 156 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	How long are the warranties for the 5th gen? I got mine in april and now I have a rainbow through half the screen for some reason. Is it still covered or am I out of luck?

Youngbinks Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Gainesville, Florida Posts: 7,567 Thanks: 98 Thanked 213 Times in 182 Posts	I'm pretty sure that the 5th Gen iPods have a 1 year Apple warranty. I would definitely go to Apple and get it checked out quickly, just in case it's only 6 months or something weird like that.
