Default ???Complications...a question???

Ok, here we go.

I have, i believe, a 3rd gen Ipod (the last one before the color screen came out).

When I first got my ipod, i did not have a home computer, but my father did. I would visit his house everytime I wanted to download music off of itunes or put my own cd's on my ipod. My stepsister took this computer to college with her, so I just stopped messing with putting new music on my ipod.

It's been a couple of years now, and im tired of all the same ol music, only 1500 songs atm.

My wife just got a computer from her job and i'm allowed to use itunes on it.

First off, i don't want to lose any of the music currently on the ipod, ive heard of a program where you can use an ipod with a new computer and not lose any music. Can someone give me a link?

Wait! It gets better!

My mother is giving me ANOTHER computer in just over a month and i want to make it my primary multimedia computer with Itunes, pictures, video and what not.

Is there a way to have two accounts on itunes?

Can I make one on this computer and download songs until I get the other computer and start using it?

I know I could just wait, but i don't wanna!

Is this too complicated, should i just wait for the other computer?

Any help would be appreciated. I have a 2 year old I'm getting ready for nite nite, and don't have much time to research atm.

Thanx ahead of time.

I know there's a wizard out there somewhere!
