Can i find the country of purchase of my ipod with the serial number?
My mom gave me my ipod after traveling around ...now it´s broken and they won´t give me service....unless i tell them where it was bought..but i have no idea
 is it possible to find out with the serial number 8K820TU2Y5N PLEASE HELP ME!

I'm thinking that the serial will give the date but not where. If it told you where they they could look at the serial themselves and figure it out.
