Yahoo mail stop working after jail break

Hi every one,

I have Yahoo mail accout and it works fine before I jail break
After I jail break, it can't retrieve or send mail
and a message shows at follow
"Cannot Get Mail
The user name or password for
"imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com" is
incorrect."

Please help

Not convinced that this is a jailbreak problem. Try deleting the account on your phone, and re-entering. Yahoo mail is garbage in terms of reliability. Try sending a message to your Yahoo account to make sure the account itself doesn't have problems.

There are a host of Yahoo help threads in the internet. Google "set up Yahoo mail on iPhone" for example to get more instructions.

I've encountered the same problem after jailbreaking. I've deleted the yahoo account, gone onto my computer changed the password, tried re-entering my yahoo mail acct on my iPhone, and still nothing. I got a gmail account to work, but I never really use gmail, as I've had this yahoo account since 1997.

Is there a patch or tweak or something that we can add?

Weird thing is...I have 2 other yahoo accounts where mail is being retrieved fine.

I had a problem after I jailbreaked where the mail app would fail to start up... I was about to restore when I came across this fix in installer... Go to the iclarified source in installer (if u don't have it, add this source http://installer.iclarified.com) look for syncfix(dev 1.1.3 jailbreak) yes it works with 1.1.4 it totally fixed my mail problem!! Of that doesn't work... Make sure to check ur advanced settings are right...I hope this helps

Try this. Go to settings, general, reset, reset network settings.
