Will iPhone Still Work When Go Phone Plan Expires?

I cancelled my Go Phone plan with my iPhone and it is set to end on the 5th, will I still be able to use the iPod and other non-phone features when this occurs?

Yes bro, this isnt a verizon phone where everything is locked down to the carrier, Lol!

But seriously yeah, you just wont be able to use things like edge, or make phone calls- except maybe emergency calls. But you can still listen to music, browse safari through wi-fi, and any other features that wont require a plan ya kno?

Were you unlocked or did you sign up for the pay as go plan via iTunes?

You will have no problems using your iPhone as an iPod up until you find yourself needing to restore. If you are locked, you will then be unable to use it for other than making emergency calls.

My recommendation, if you haven't already done so, is to unlock the device. That way, you won't need to reactivate if you need to restore.
