WIFI Not working on 1.1.4 iphone help!!!

Hi,
This is my first post so be gentle.
I got an iphone from the states about 2 months ago and all was working fine.
It was a 1.1.4 model and I used ziphone to unlock it. The Wifi worked the first day and I am not sure when but it stopped shortly after that.
I have tried everything possible to get it back working to no avail.
I tried restoring it and using Iliberty+ (with the wifi fix) and that didnt work.
I cannot downgrade the firmware as It will only allow me to restore to 1.1.4 or 1.1.3 using itunes. Everything else on the phone is working fine.
Here is some info on the phone.
Modem firmware 04.04.05_G
Bootloader 4.6_M3S2 ( I think I upgraded this from 3.9 using bootneuter)
Baseband says "Present"
WIFI and Blustooth have encryption keys next to them.

I have been trying every day for the past weeks to get this fixed and am out of ideas.
Please could someone help as it is driving me mad.

Did the wifi work after you restored (before you unlocked with iliberty+)?

Good question and to be honest I don't know as the phone is locked after I restore it.
Is there a way to test the WIFI after I restore or a way to bypass the activation etc.

Surely someone has come across this problem.
I can't find a solution anywhere, at least if I can restore the phone and bypass the activation I can test the Wifi. Anyone any ideas.

When you say "not working," what do you mean? I wonder if you're experiencing interference issues with other wifi routers around you. Does the problem happen everywhere? different base stations?

Happens everywhere, when I go to choose a network the circle just keeps flashing on and off every few seconds and finds nothing. I tried it in work where there are about a dozen wifi points and nothing. It worked the first day I unlocked it and then stopped, the only thing I can put it down to the Ziphone unlock but its strange that it worked for about a day, it might have only happened after I downloaded some apps using installer.
I have virtually given up at this stage as I have tried everything.

I am having wifi issues on my unlocked phone (I purchased it unlocked), 1.1.4.

Mine worked for about 24 hours. After which, I appear to be connected to my home network (or so the settings menu says I am connected) but I do not have a wifi icon on my screen. I noticed that my wifi connectivity issues ocurred after using my phone to snap a few photos. After that, my laptop recognizes my phone as a camera and I can no longer connect to wifi. All other functionality is working as expected.

that could be what happened to mine.
My phone does the same, when I connect to my pc it picks it up as a camera.
Strange indeed.
I am just hoping it is not a hardware issue and that somebody comes up with a fix for it. Cheers for the reply.

There has to be some one that has come across this problem and has managed to fix it. Its such a pain having to use edge to download everything.
Anyone???
I would pay to get it fixed at this stage.
