Every playlist I created with iTunes is correct. You know what? The artist playlist is out of order too!!! What the (#@&%??? Genres are out of order too. And Albums.

did you use iPhone PC suite?

it caused the same problem for me...

That's an interesting feature. What happens if the Sort Name field is blank, as all of mine are. I would assume that it would default to the Name field.

I have used iPhone PC Suite before, but I don't really use it for music. I use it to backup notes, SMS, etc. Do you think that it might still affect the iPhone?

yes, it should default to the Name field. It is a nice feature... i use it for the "Sort Artist" so they are sorted by their last names instead of their first names.

Ah, very cool. I'll bet I could put the tempo (BPM) in the sort name field.

Although it would just be easier to create a playlist. That's what I usually do.
