Default What version of os X?
just had this question run through my head. What version of OS X is the iphone os X tiger or leopard? any body got a guess?

It's most likely a derivative of 10.5, as iPhone supports Core Animation, which is new to Leopard.

Do not expect the version of OSX on the iPhone to be anything like what your used to on your Mac. The difference will probably be about the same as the difference between Windows XP and Windows Mobile. Quite a damn bit.

Its confirmed here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liger that the iphone will run the LiGER version of The mac OS
