Been on Macs forever. My first system; Power Computing was a Mac clone. Anyone remember those days when Apple licensed out its OS?
Yes and yes, it is all decked out. I hate to say it, but you can seriously tell the speed difference. Especially when rendering video...

My first computer was also a Power Computing Mac and the screen blew out smoke.. Got a second one and loved it... learned how to make websites off that machine... good stuff...

I'm assuming if you're rendering video then you maxed out your RAM at 4GB..that is the max right?

Haha! Yeah, mine had cooling issues as did most of the units at that time. That was the big problem..overheating. Loved mine too...you know after I got the fan replaced I learned everything I know about digital painting on that baby so it has a special place in my heart. (I think I'm getting misty..sniff..sniff)

Forgot to mention your 30" display. Sucks cause I had that one and had to return because it didn't work with my old desktop G4. I needed that oh so special graphics card that was really hard to find and wasn't cheap. Settled on the 23" and still love it. Its plenty big. Time to upgrade to the MacBook Pro though. I have a need for speed!
