Smile What do I need to know?

I ordered my iPhone, coming soon, I hope. I have read many postings here. What I would like to know is what is the most exciting thing I have to look forward too and 2.) what is the one thing I need to make sure I do when I do get the iPhone. I am excited about this so I would appreicate the positive feedback and allow me to determine ( but don't expect) the negative side.

Get a case and screen protector. They can be a bit pricey but it is worth it, considering how much the iphone costs.

Ha ha I like how excited you are about it. First thing i would do is have a case ready for right when you get it. Don't even play with it, just drop it right in the case or that shiny apple logo on the back will get scratched in five minutes. To prepare I would start putting all your phone numbers in Yahoo! address book so you can just port them all over. (It's a lot easier than putting them in the iPhone one by one). As far as features, try out that internet man, it's what sets it apart from every other phone in the history of the phones.

If I have a .mac account and use address book on my MacBook, would that would instead of yahoo address book? Funny thing, I can quickly decide to spend 500 dollars but when it comes to cases, I dont know which one I want. Should I be concerned with how pretty, how practical, or how price it is.

Well I have a PC so I had to use the yahoo one but I'm sure the .mac account would work just as well if not better. As far as cases, if you are known to drop your phones I would get one of those rubber ones. Uglier true but you will hate yourself forever if you drop your phone without a durable case. If you can hold on to your phone but are just paranoid about scratches (like I am), I would go with the InvisibleShield. It's just like shrink wrap plastic all around the iPhone to just protect from scratches and not dropping.

I personally recommend the Incase Molded Rubber Case.

I would look for a case that is both functional and stylish. The cost ranges from about 25 to 40 dollars for a case, but it is well worth it in my opinion.

I would also recommend getting one of the sticky screen protectors. I bought mine at walmart for 10 dollars.

So does Wal-Mart carry any of the cases for the phone and where do I find the screen protector in a Wal-Mart store.

I found the plastic screen protectors with the headphones and other small electronic devices. It was right across from the cell phones and stuff.

I don't know if walmart has iPhone cases. I ordered mine from apple.com. I also know that the AT&T stores carry them.

Make sure you have all your album art configured in itunes correctly. The cover flow feature is worth the price. It's the biggest WOW feature when I show it to people. They can't believe how nice that is.
