Default Web applications install help

hey guys !!!

I have bought an already unlocked iphone (using other carrier sim card) with version 1.1.2 (3B48b) and firmware 04.02.13_G.My phone is working very well & have installer & iworld already installed on my phone.

But,i want to install some of the applications shown from apple's webiste as well as other applications. Can anyone confirm me that it would be safe for me to install these app (it wont change my firmware & make my phone a brick) & if yes, please give me a link to guide me through the process of installing the web applications..

Thank you very much in advance for your co-operation.

Cheers

Congrads on your purchase! Web applications are not installed. They are accessed through your browser, hence the reason they are called webapps.
If you were to jailbreak your iPhone, then you would have access to native apps to install directly on the phone. However, these apps are not approved, and technically, jailbreaking voids your warranty ( just like unlocking).
Do some reading on jailbreaking and you can easily learn everything that is available to you and what you need to use.

Web apps don't require any installation. They run via the web browser, and are often just iPhone optimized sites. If you're browsing through the Apple web apps directory, just click on an app's URL link to see it / use it.

And these will not do any harm to your phone ...

Think he's already jailbroken - he's unlocked and mentions having Installer ...

Probably be better for you to ask your questions on the iPhone Modifications forum.

Good luck.

Guys,Thank you very much for such a quick feedback & I am sorry if this is not the right place to discuss this issue but since,i have already opened the thread here now....let us complete the discussion here only.

with enabled wi-fi connection, when i opened the installer,it asked me to install 2 updates ..when of which was the uprgade version of my already installed INSTALLER ..i didnt install them...

basically,i want currency converter, isms fix & want to organise my home screen icons..& i am worried that by using apple's applications,it might upgrade my software or something & turn my phone into a paper weight..

since, you are saying that these apllication are used through web, then, does that mean that i cannot use sms fix when i dont have internet connection...

Please bear with me if i am asking childish question & treat me like your little brother & guide me through, because i am totally confused as they are a lot of different & contradictary stuff on the web & i am living in a country where if something went wrong with my phone, then,i have no place to go...
