Default Vibration making loud noise

My one yr old was playing with my Iphone and I think he knocked it around a bit. Ever since the vibrating alert has become very loud. Its even louder than my ringtone. In fact i hear the vibrating sound first and then my ringtone in the background. This even though my ringer is on full volume with the sound boost. Its a bit annoying, any suggestions on how i can fix it?

Although banging it around could effect the hardware I doubt it would make it louder. You could have damaged the speaker but that would effect your ringtones as well. As much as you may not like it, maybe you should try a restore. Maybe something just got whacked out of sorts.

Sounds like something got knocked loose and it is vibrating along with the vibrator.

Unless there are marks on the phone from your child's attentions I would take it back to Apple (assuming it's still under warranty) since there is no way to be sure how this happened.

I have to ask; why would you let a one-year old play with an iPhone..?
