Using google chat in iphone

I know that google talk is available on iphones...can you also do videochat through google or is it only chat for now? Can other users see the camera icon next to your name when you are using your iphone google chat?

How would you see the person anyway without a front facing camera?

True..I thought the camera icon showed up if someone was using gtalk on the iphone, but it turns out it was through a browser, not the phone.
