Default Upgrading to 3G will I still be able to use V1 iPhone?

Hi all,

I'm getting a 3G iPhone on Friday but I already have my iDay V1 phone. I was planning on just upgrading (i.e. not getting a new number or anything like that). My V1 iPhone is jailbroken so I may want to switch back and forth between the two by switching my sim cards. Is that going to be possible?

If it's unlocked, I don't know why not.

Well I don't quite think you want mine. 4 days out of my warranty (July 3rd to be exact) the sleep button got stuck in the down position so my iPhone constently kept resetting itself. I called Apple and I would have to pay 200 bucks to repair it so I'm pretty much forced to get the 3G one. I eventually pried the sleep button loose but it's not a long term fix.

It shouldn't be a problem so long as there is no difference in SIM cards.

Can't you just buy the 69 extended warranty from apple? Its a whole year more or coverage.

Not after the original warranty is already expired.
