Upgrading from 2.0-3.0
Okay well my brother has an iPhone V1 and has not updated it since the beginning of the internet so its still on 2.0. However when he trys to upgrade everytime it fails.
Now I have tried 2 Mac's 1 PC 3 different USB cords(which all work on my iPhone 3G) and even tried a customized firmware upgrade and it will not work. This is my theory which may work but I want someone else to prove me wrong so I don't have to do this. I think I may first upgrade the phone to something between the 2 firmwares such as 2.1 or 2.2 before going to 3.0; kinda like taking baby steps. Any other solution?
