Default Updating iphone with jailbroken iphone

anyone do it?? does it lock it again?? will i lose the applications i have on there like NES and stuff like that????

Unless you have downloaded your apps, themes, etc to your computer, as you restore, yes you will loose the apps. The phone, however will not lock.

updating on iTunes, latest software, and how would I go about saving apps to laptop??

You always want to wait until the developers have had a chance to test the newest updates before you try them on your phone. The one good thing about an unjailbroken iphone, is you can update the latest firmware as soon as they are released.

you should look under the modifications forum for the ziphone thread by themanofthedark. He's the guy to talk to about unlocking and his thread has lots of helpfull information on the subject.
