Unlocking my old iPhone for selling... - iPhone 3G

Hey everyone, I just picked up the 3G and would like to sell my old iPhone.
I have been looking at prices and it appears that the jailbroke/unlocked ones are selling for more.
I ran the Ziphone on it...but is there anything else I need to do? There shows a little icon on the phone now that says "installer". Do I touch that, or does the new owner have to do something? I tried a different carrier's sim card in it, and was able to place a call, but it couldn't activate the edge.
I just want to make sure I have unlocked and jailbroke properly if I sell it as such.

I am wondering the same thing. I am not wanting to make a huge profit, just enough to cover the cost of the new 3g iphone. Anyone??

I obviously did something wrong...or didn't finish the process.
cannot connect to edge or WiFi..ugh

maybe u should restore and do the process over again... And installer is just to install stuff so that is basically for the other person who buys the phone from you

To activate EDGE you have to enter an APN address, so it all depends on what the SIM carrier is. Leave the Installer alone, let them play with that.
