Two problems with 1.1.3 update - iPhone 3G

1. My iphone keeps flashing the screen on and off about every hours, then tells me that the device is not made for the iphone, but there isn't anything plugged into it.

so it fix this, i thought i should leave it off for a while, then my second problem arose.

2. Can't turn iphone off. I hold the sleep button, slide it off, and it's off far a second, if that, then it turns back on all by itself.

haven't had either of those issues and i've upgraded to 1.1.3...so maybe bring it into to apple?

if you haven't jailbroken, id take it to apple. If you wanted to try to figure it out on your own, you could try a hard-reset by holding the home button and lock/power button down for 5-7 seconds or so... if that doesn't work you may try restoring it.

easiest thing would be to take it to apple...
