Trouble Syncing pls help!!

i judt got the phone got it activated in about 5 minutes no trouble.

im just having trouble syncing. im just trying to sync my contacts right now, they are in outlook 2003. i start the sync and everything looks fine but after about 2 minuted itunes becomes unresponsive and freezes. anybody have any idea why this is happening?

I occasionally have this problem too. I am using Windows XP Pro SP3. I reboot the machine and open iTunes with no other programs running and am able to completely sync 100% of the time so far.

Itunes shouldnt become unresponsive, however, a first sync can take a long time. Just leave it to do its thing - its been reported that syncing and backup's can take about 30/40 mins. Also, are you running the latest 3.0 firmware? If not, you need the lateset version of Itunes, then you need to plug in you Iphone and check for updates and update to 3.0. This will not work unless you have the latest iTunes, so do this first!
