Touch Screen Problems?? Is my screen defective? - Page 2

This is going to sound really weird but I'm left handed and usually use my left hand fingers on the iPhone and it works fine but the other day at a party I was holding a cold drink (coke in a plastic cup) in my left hand and was trying to show someone stuff on the iPhone with my right hand fingers and stuff was jumping all over the place and was not responding somethings. When I switched back to my left hand again it seemed to work fine again. I know it sounds crazy but it's true. I'm really not joking. It made me wonder if my right hand was not as real as my left hand or something.

make sure you try to keep your screen somewhat clean. i was using my phone alot one day and built up alot of finger prints and smudges on the screen and then i talked on the phone for a few minutes, i was outside and it was hot, so i had some sweat and stuff on the screen and the screen was really slow and unresponsive after that. i just wiped everything off with my shirt and it worked perfectly again.

i have worse broblem that only one cm above home bottom is not working the rest are fine any helb

I am on my third IPHONE. My first phone's screen went dead on the top 1 quarter. My second phone's screen went dead on the bottom quarter. I took them to the Apple store and they replaced them on the spot. I love the phone but some phones do end up getting "dead spots".

Also I am very careful with my phones i don't drop them and i keep them in a case. So the screen problems were not from any kind of abuse.

Try rebooting the iPhone off then on. If it still is that way then it needs replacing. I think you are in Finland if my memory is correct, so I don't know.

By chance is yours the 32 gig also? I bought my wife the 16 gig and hers is fine, while mine is always hanging up... All the sudden touch won't work exactly as you described!
