One of the days we have been waiting for. I hope that Steve announces some good information.
Only 9 hours left. I'm definitely going to be listening live and reading updates.
I'd be very surprised if he devotes more than 20 minutes to the iphone. Remember this is a developers conference, unless he's changed his mind and is going to allow 3rd party apps which i don't think he will.
saying that I want to hear about the other new things have we all forgot theirs a new version of OS X coming out!!!!!
and what about ilife07 and the rumours of apple joining up with google for .mac
I think he is going to introduce a Wozniak autographed limited edition iPhone.
1pm EST I believe.
Here's a linked agenda for today's WWDC:
iPhone:Without or With contract and that sounds like you need the contract for the internet features.
- new secret features:
- iWork and iLife integration,
- .mac integration (iDisk access, Mail, documents on-line, etc. work on)
- Demo new features
- iPhone accessories, prices
- Demo accessories
- available in US Apple (without contract) and (with contract) net curtain, prices at&t
- Europe as promised in the autumn
Also sounds like he's going to discuss the At&t prices too. Maybe that will answer our data plan questions.
That' s it, but there' s one more thing, new product iphone@home:The guy at Dailytechtalk.com posted it and more last night. I just listed the things that pertain to iPhone. I guess we'll find out whether or not this true this afternoon.
- 10 multitouch screen,
- 30 GB Flash memory,
- iPhone user surface,
- 8 hours of battery,
- no connections except dock Connector,
- resemble functions as iPhone, except mobile phone, but iChat
- integrated iSight
- Demo iphone@home
This seems really hard to believe... whoever put this together does seem to follow the flow of a typical Jobs keynote, but why would they announce a new, bigger, touch-screen enabled home device, which will certainly cannibalize iPhone sales right before the launch?
As you said, we'll know in a few hours, but I'm pretty skeptical.
Maybe he wants to throw something out to compare to MS Surface.
It would be a way to show off touch screen technology without the cellphone stuff.
