Thumbnail photo does not appear when making a call

When you make a call and have a photo associated with the contact you are calling, the contacts photo appears as the wallpaper throughtout the call.

In the adverstisements for the iPhone it shows the contacts photo as a thumbnail image next to their name and your selected wallpaper shows through.

Is there a setting to make the thumgnail appear instead of a full screened image?

For an example of what I mean, just go to apple.com and look at the picture of the phone on the far left. John Appleseed's pic is in the upper
right instead of filling up the background

There is no option for it at the moment. Several little things from keynotes and commercials, including the thumbnail image, have been changed upon the iPhone's release.

Images taken with the phone and applied to a contact show up full screen. If you enter the image in Address Book it'll be an icon.

Interesting. There is no option for this on PC. Perhaps because PC address books don't support images?
