I have this error message coming up every few seconds. My iPhone is unlocked, on T-Mobile monthly contract and I have installed no apps. It's the 1.1.1, and the only things that gets plugged into it are the charger and the occasional sync with my laptop. It syncs perfectly with iTunes, although it recently stopped making any sound when playing music. It looks like it's playing, but you can't hear anything. My sister managed to make it play properly, but it paused everytime time the message came up. It charges fine. I get this message all the time, no matter what I'm doing. It is highly annoying.

I will clean out the dock port soon, but is there anything else I can try?

I have the problem of the sound cutting off and losing the volume controls whenever the Iphone is docked, however it can be solved by unplugging and replugging the headphones.
