Nope, not without jailbreaking the phone and installing one of the 'third party' applications that will do this.

This is probably the first of a few features you'll discover over the next few days that are, well, missing as yet. There' a thread somewhere with a list of common observations somewhere.

do a search, i think that i have seen a work-around on this, i think that you can make groups and then send it to groups... but search and im sure that something will work out. i had a hard time, i was lucky, i gave my blackberry to my brother with my old number and when people called looking for me he just gave them my number...

Yes it has been jailbroken but not unlocked.

If you can wait until firmware update 1.1.3, there are rumors that this will be added then.
