Steps to selling iPhone on eBay

I bought a 3G iPhone on July 11th and since V1 phones are going for some high prices on eBay, I want to try to sell my V1 phone. What would be the steps I need to take in order to sell my phone. It is currently running software 1.1.2 and is jailbroken. I would like to restore it to 1.1.4 if possible instead of 2.0 so the buyer would have the option to Jailbreak/unlock it. How would I go about restoring my phone to 1.1.4 from 1.1.2 without having to activate it. I've heard taking the SIM out before selling is a good thing to do for security purposes. Any advice on how to securely sell me V1 on eBay would be great. Thanks in advance!!

yes, take out the sim. And to get the most for your phone, unlock and jail break the 1.1.4. Then just go about listing it like any other item on eBay. But the jail broken and unlocked 1.1.4 is key for a high bid.

I would also recommend wiping its memory using this technique. I did that with both my phones because there are many unscrupulous people out there and if you have sensitive info on it, they could easily find it if you don't wipe the memory.

Selling it as a 1.1.4 jailbroken and already unlocked phone will get you more $.

How about selling it as a Software 2.0 jailbroken and unlocked iPhone. That will probably get you the most money.
