SMS not received from non ATT carriers? (Midwest)

Hello,
I've noticed since 1:00 AM today I am not receiving text messages from non ATT carriers (Verizon, Sprint, etc.). (confirmed I do receive from ATT from friends messages). I'm up in Michigan...

Has anyone else experienced this today or at any other time?

something similar has happened to me since monday i think. i only get 1700 sms btwn me and non-att subscribers but since monday my texts havnt been deducted from non-att subscribers. so i am still recieving all my messages but my account shows that i have only been recieving messages from other att subscribers

I'm going nutso cause I use txt's for a lot of work stuff... I even was thinking maybe I didn't pay my bill??? LOL but no, I did so I don't know what the problem is!!!

I noticed a small problem this morning that seemed to fix itself. I had some people send me text messages this morning around 7am (EST) that I didn't receive until almost 10am (EST).

Update: Attempted calling ATT, and was NOT helpful at all, nothing came of it.

As of 2:30 PM local time I gradually started receiving msgs again from non ATT carriers. Bottom line, just like termleech said, it fixed itself after more than 13 hours down. I guess this was just some random event. I had never had this problem before. I guess I better be prepared for the SMS approach not to be as reliable anymore.
