Default Ringtones????

How do you make ringtones for the iPhone? Anyone successfully do one?

not yet...but all ringtones will likely have to be purchased.

MP3 ringtones are obnoxious anyways. think about it. No matter what song you set it as, there's always a situation in which you really dont want that particular sound to play.

Like if you have too $hort and youre eating dinner with your gma.

Or if you have DJ mix a lot and youre in a meeting with your boss.

Or even if you have a love song and youre with the guys.

Plus they all get old after a couple weeks anyways.

someone has got to find a way to make them, I mean my sprint a900 was easy to make ringtones and send them over the internet and i only paid like 99 for that phone, I spend 500 on this one and I want to make ringtones dammit!

For any mp3 ringtones, you will most likely have to buy them. i personally dont think they will be allowing any software that lets you make your own. At least judging by the evidence ive seen so far.
