i had this problem when i noticed my ear was a bit closer to the side of the phone rather than keeping it centered b/c it fit better in my hand that way

make sure the earpeice is directly over your ear

I must be seeing double. I thought I read this post already.

I don't understand what you're saying here:

even is turning the max. i can even bearing hear other side talking.

Smile Fixed!!

I think i fixed my own problem. The problem is i did not remove the plastic. I think b/c the plastic is seal around the whole phone. Therefore, the sound cannot spread out Once I cut the hole of the receiver area. now I can hear it very clear. Thanks for all your comment.

If I only had a $ for everyone that had left their plastic on their iPhone!

I could have paid for my 8Gb, the case, charger, Jawbone, AT&T sign-up fee, and the Subway I ate while in line at the store on iDay!

Seriously.. how many people have done this so far? Who the heck leaves that crappy plastic on their phone? I mean.. did you not see it? Or did you want to just leave it on there?

Better Bet is Apple's iCrystal. I got it yesterday and it is completely unnoticeable. There is no adhesive/spray/or anything else. You simply wipe your iphone off with a cloth and this thing static clings to it like a suction cup. It is amazing! I just lined it up, let go, and watched this stuff literally mold on to the face of the iphone, it looked like something out of a sci fi movie.

I was in the same situation with the OEM plastic still on. I kept it on because the static screen protectors were selling out in my area incredibly fast. I went to an Apple store and the store rep went into the back and found one laying around that now only covers the touch screen area.

After that call reception both ways became NOTICABLY better.
