It hasn't really kicked off yet. The keynote isn't until 12:00 P.M. CST (10:00 A.M. Pacific)

But here is what is probably happening:

Many geeks walking around, probably talking about the next Star Wars or Trekkie convention.

I am certain there is probably some sort of continental style breakfast, including but not limited to Bagels, cream cheese, various juices (orange, cranberry, apple, possibly milk) and maybe some mixed fruit. Macrumors.com reported heavy speculation from an unnamed inside source that there might be a cantaloupe on the buffet.

Starbucks stock is most likely taking a huge increase with the large number of urbanites in attendance.

All of the covered banners that have been getting so much attention on Macrumors.com are still covered. More pics of the covered banners continue to surface though.

Steve Jobs is sitting in his room, looking at the various rumor sites on his iPhone (bastard!) quietly chuckling at the thought that people are placing some credibility in the possibility of an early release. "Wishful thinking!" he quietly murmurs to himself.

And last but not least, I predict Bill Gates is crying in the fetal position in his office, dreading the nightmares that will be released on Micro$oft today...

Sorry, thought I would throw some humor into the mix...no news yet Debest...thanks for blowing the lid off the entire release date thing. You go girl!

Anyone else want to ad to the list of ridiculous things that are probably (not) happening at WWDC right now...just for fun...LOL

I think Bill probably is worried these days. He is in the process of giving away a good chuck of his wealth (okay, Linda's giving it away) and at the same time the foundation of the company that is the basis of that wealth is starting to erode.

If you're in his position and are his personality type, this stuff has got to keep you up at night.
