Pictures are ruined when copied to Iphone

I've tried copying pictures to my iphone and every time, only a small number of them will transfer, say 12 out of 80 for one set, and the 12 that do are messed up, the pictures on my pc are fine, but when on the iphone, the colors are messed up, alignment of the picture is messed up. Some people are blue, stuff like that. I've tried removing/reinstalling Itunes, restoring Iphone, copying the pictures again from a nother source. No luck. The pictures are fine on my PC and printable, etc...
