these should still use web 2.0 but not need a connection to run. this is great! have you guys thought about it? i mean if you travel outside edge range or wifi....whatever you are doing would crash or stop working. that would suck if you were in a google doc and lost your connection without saving. i hope they figure this out before too long! i travel quite a bit.

According to the Google Gears website "Google Gears (BETA) is an open source browser extension that enables web applications to provide offline functionality."
Which probably means that they'll run through Safari (and not stand alone apps *sigh*) |
