When you upgrade you will loose all your aftermarket programs but you can just put them back when your finished. 1.1.4 is stable and most of the software released has been modified to work with it now. I am still on 1.1.3 because I am too lazy to reinstall everything but everything I have read recommends upgrading to 1.1.4 now that it is stable and working well for everyone.
