Default new iphone rumor coming

Read on CNN that all online stores are officially out of stock of iphones. This cnn says is due to the upcoming new iphone probably--and coming in june probably.

Question...this new iphone--is faster internet all that is new about it?? What are other rumors saying?? I would never get a new phone for $500 again if it was just faster internet.

C'mon man, do some searching and/or check out the various tech blogs. There's also a lot over in the future iPhone board.

It has a 5mp camera, too. Nobody's required to upgrade. I will, and I just bought my iPhone. The new OS, will work on old and new phones, so other than faster internet and better camera (and more memory), I don't think there is any reason to upgrade.

You forgot one big thing.. SLINGBOX. With the 3G speeds, you can now slingbox without needing to use wi-fi.

I hope Sling Media have the player out for the iPhone soon

There are also rumors about GPS integration. This would be pretty convenient and much more precise than the current triangulation.

This confuzzles me(well in my POV). I may exchange my iPhone to upgrade for a 16 GB one. Since they are sold out, do I score a 3G one lol

They have to integrate GPS into the new iPhone. Literally all PDA phones come with GPS now. Apple will not be doing themselves a favour, if they do not integrate GPS into the new iPhone.

GPS will be good with the iPhone screen.

My old Motorola phone 4 years ago had GPS and I thought it a bit of a design flaw for the iPhone not to have it, let alone any other smartphone released these days. I also haven't heard anything about a 5 MP camera.
