New iPhone - 2 questions - iPhone 3G

Hello Everyone,

Great forum!

I just picked up an unlocked 1.1.3 iPhone and am running into a couple issues.

I tried to set up my Comcast email, I fill in all the information and save it, then when I check my email it says "No Password Provided" - even though I entered it. When I go back to Settings, the password field is blank. I've tried over and over, but can't get it to save my password.

The other issue I'm having is pairing my Bluetooth HS810 headset. I can get the phone to recognize the device, but when I put in the passcode (0000), it says Not Paired.

Do you think these problems could be related?

The email password not sticking is a definite know issue. There is a fix. In Installer add the following source: http://sleeprs.net/iphonerepo. You may also then need to install, from under the Recent Packages category, the Bigboss's Beta/Experiment package.

Once you do, you should see the 113 Mailfix item under Tweaks (1.1.3) category.

Not sure about the bluetooth issue - there may well be a patch for that as well ...

Very cool - glad to hear it. Big Boss is a great source - I recommend checking out his Speed Dial app too ..
