Default Need some advice...

I currently have a v1 iPhone with 2.0 software and now I am beginning to become interested in the 3G. My question is whether it is really worth it. I hear all these v1 owners claiming that it really isn't that amazing, but then I think about the fact that it has 3G, GPS, better speakers, flush headphone jack, etc. And I can't help but wonder why so many people claim that it is not worth buying. I cannot really think of any qualities that aren't redeeming.

You may want to go to AT&T or Apple to see the 3G in person to compare the two.

I have, and I just don't understand what there is not to like...Mostly I am worried that I will be making a huge mistake by buying the 3G... Am I missing something?

I guess if you're willing to pay extra money a month for 3g & gps then I'd say go for it. Me personally I don't want to pay the extra money since most of the time I'm connected to wi-fi anyway and the maps that is on the phone works for me. I plan on waiting for the next iphone to come out. Technology is always changing so I'm sure when the next one comes out you'll want that one too
