Default Names on incoming calls not displayed.

I have an iPhone (1.1.3) which I use in South America. It works fine except for one detail: the names on incoming calls from my contact list are not displayed. That is, when a call comes in, my iPhone just flashes the number callingbut not the caller's ID.

I know there are patches from 3rd parties that can be loaded thru Installer, but they're good for version 1.1.1.

Does anyone know about installer apps that solve this problem for version 1.1.3?

I don't know of any off the top of my head, but I take it you are unlocked? Have you tried restoring (after virginizing) and starting over?

Does restoring = starting from scratch. That is, resetting everything?

I've had the iPhone for a couple of weeks only and it has never displayed the caller ID.

Haven't heard about other SA users and their experience.

I know there's an app (source: i.unlock.no) called Phone # to name fix, but it only works with version 1.1.1.

I had exactly this problem until yesterday, i had texts showing the names but phone calls would not, spent several hours trawling the net to find the answer and trying various hacks.
In the end it was simple

I'll assume you are Jailbroken and have the installer app.
Go to iClarified and then install the AppSupport Patch (1.1.4), follow the instructions which involves rebooting it. Once i tested this it worked perfectly.
There are ones there for 1.1.2 and 1.1.3, i hope they fix the same issue.
