My Wife Rocks - iPhone 3G

I was going to go across the street (downtown Cleveland) after I get off work tonight, which might not be until 7:00. My wife called me about 3:00 today and said that she was going to go to the N. Olmsted AT&T location (here in Cleveland) to get in line. She's 2nd in line right now and only got there about 50min. ago. One of the employees came out and told them so far they had enough to supply everyone in line. My wife rocks - all that I can say!

This whole "understanding wife" phenomenon is crazy!

My wife is notoriously cheap. After the iPhone was announced in January (officially), I began following the rumors and info. As we neared the release date, and I became increasingly excited about the thing, it became apparent that I was going to look at her with those puppy eyes and ask for her support for the purchase. So, without actually asking for her blessing, she says to me:

"You haven't wanted anything for yourself since you went to law school - no new car, no toys, no extravagances. So, you deserve that iWhatever."
"But Honey, it's $600! Plus tax and accessories!!"
"It doesn't matter. You earned it. Law school was hard work, and you deserve it."

...

"Where did you hide my wife?"

I have the same thing going on... My wife said "You convinced me already" when I was only talking about it's features with her (maybe for the 10th time, lol).

Now she's #20 waiting in line for me, AND says we should pay the extra $100 bucks for the 8gig... and she's not even getting one right away!!!!!

Man.... all I know is we are gonna have some serious "honey-do" lists for the next few weeks. But yeah - cool wives ROCK!

I'm leaving work now to go join her in line - SEE YOU ALL ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!!!!!!
