Please define "unresponsive" and "reset" in the contexts to which you're referring. Is the phone freezing? Or going to a blank screen from which the home button does not awake? When you're "resetting" it, are you turning it off and on again or just back on? Your wording leaves a bit to confusion.
ok when i mean unresponsive i dont mean freezing i mean its shutting off and the only way to turn it back on is to do a soft reset

Well, you can't do a soft reset when the phone's already off, you're just turning it on. That's what's confusing me. So, are you just turning it back on?
