my iphone don´t run correctly

Hi, first of all congratulations for this web, it´s excellent.
I´m new here, I come from Spain, (sorry for my english)I try to explain my problem.
I have an iPhone since 1 month when a friend visit NY and bought one for me.
I was very happy for the buy...but when I started to use the iphone...arrives the problem...the iphone blocking and no run for 8-9 times per day it´s
desperate try to use the iphone by this way. I need to reboot all the time.
At the start I believe that the problem was the grade of the version, and I updated to the 1.4 version but the problem continues. Then I make a downgrade, but this is not the solution.
I don´t know what I have to do, I´m really desperate with the phone...
Can anybody helps me?

First of welcome to EIC if the problem continues even after you restore, and you tried downgrading correct? did you jailbreak the phone when you got it? and i know your english isnt so good but can you explain exactly what goes wrong in detail i might be able to help you out.
