Default Merging Calls

I just had a chance to use the merge calls function on the iPhone. I must say that it was impressive how easy it was to do. The menus are simple and clear and the function works as it should. Color me pleased!

Have you used it? What was the result?

Its definitely a great feature.

Most phones can do this, but the treo was the the only phone I've ever had that was as easy as my iPhone. Im just surprised they havnt found a way to charge us to use it.

Question Merging calls... problem

I tried using this function yesterday. I was talking to my brother in-law then my wife called. I picked up her line and put him on hold. I pressed merge calls and it merged fine BUT the problem was I could hear them but they couldn't hear me.

Anyone know why this is?

Thanks in advance

Are you on AT&T or a different provider? It could be something based on the settings and rules of your provider.

what firmware are you on? im on 2.2 and the feature stopped working when I updated. I think its 2.2 firmware that messes it up. I have had several people try it and they all fail.
