Mail feature not working

Hello

I've had non of the mentioned problems with sycning my outlook to my iphone, however, when I hit the mail button on my iPhone, it takes me to my outlook email very briefly, then returns me to the home screen without me pushing the home button. This of course makes it impossible for me to check or send emails.

Once again, from the home screen, when I hit the mail button in the bottom, it takes me to my inbox, then approximately 5 seconds later, it will return me to the home screen of the Iphone.

Whats the deal? Anyone? anyone?
