Mail.app not working... - iPhone 3G

OK,

I still have my V1 iPhone and did the update last night to the 2.0 software. Apparently it backed up my iPhone (I was on 1.1.4 Jailbroken) and then installed the update and applied my backup (it didn't give me a choice NOT to), so for some reason, my mail application is completely trashed. I try to launch it and it just kicks back to the main screen. If I go into my Settings and try to delete that mail account, it doesn't...

Help?!

if you're still jailbroken u need to get the sync fix from iclarified I think... Sorry if I'm wrong... If u want to get to 2.0... Just restore setting it up as a new phone and it will restore to 2.0

Restore to 2.0 again, and set up as a new phone.
So it wipes out all traces of your jailbreak.
