what prepaid plans are offering if you don't pass the credit check?

I am going on 4 plus hours and no activation. Las Vegas, Nevada.

That is the exact message I got when I completed my activation. Called both ATT Iphone support and Apple Technical support and was told the same thing. ATT DID verify that my account showed activated and everything going through ok. Activations taking a long long time for a lot of people.

Good luck, keep us updated.

Hey thanks for the quick update! I'm here in L.A. San Gabriel Valley by the way.
Just gonna share my day with you guys quickly:
Arrived at one of my local ATT store around 3:00PM, I was the 38th. Chat with the dude in front of me for the whole time while we were waiting, so around 7:00PM he got in, but the bad news is there's only ONE 4gb left for the whole store (that means the store received no more than 50 units in total)
I called apple store in Pasadena right away after I got this disappointed news and magically the store staff told me there are still 8gb left and the line is not too long. So me and this dude drove to apple store and joined the line there. There's this guy came to us says he just got two 8gbs 5 mins ago and like to sell it. I was so frustrated and tired at the point and there might be a chance that they sell out all the 8gbs before we get in. So we offered him $800 for the phone and now here I am waiting for the e-mail...

Holy cow, $800.00? Well, the good news is YOU GOT ONE. Now we are all together waiting for the mysterious activation to come by.

Personally I don't understand the pricing model here. It is only an extra 100 dollars for double the capacity. I can't see why anyone would even want the 4gb model, unless they aren't into music, videos, pictures, etc, but all of us to SOME degree are interested in these things right? I mean, we all got Iphones?

At this point, I can't sleep. This activation is driving me crazy. If you don't mind, keep us updated through out the night on your time. I am going into 5 hours now. 4 and a half hours to be precise.

Good luck

Another good question. Honestly, I don't know.

You might want to do some google searches on Iphone prepaid plans.

They are only offered as a last resort per the ATT training manual.

Good luck, keep us updated.

I thought about it before I made the offer you know, yes I paid $150 more but I have the phone immediately so I don't have to counting the date and waiting for the delivery guy to knock on my door. I'd say this guy was a life saver

I'm reading other posts and trying to help other people out with what I know.

Apparently, 7 hours or more isn't unusual.
